The Ministry of External Affairs New Delhi

Protector General of Emigrants (PGE) under the Ministry of External Affairs is the authority responsible for protecting the interest of Indian workers going abroad. PGE is also the registering authority to issue Registration Certificate to the Recruiting Agents for overseas manpower exporting business.

Under Section 11 and 12 of the Emigration Act, 1983 the Protector General of Emigrants, New Delhi has issued the Registration Certificate B0706/DEL/PER/1000+/5/4516/95 Valid Upto 19th December, 2022 to HABSONS TRAVELS & TOURS.

HABSONS Travels & Tours is authorized by the Protector General of Emigrants to provide the following services:

Emigration Services

Offices of the Protectors of Emigrants under the Ministry of External Affairs, grant Emigration Clearance to the persons who are holding ECR passports and are going to any of the designated countries (ECR Countries) on employment visa.

ECR/ECNR Status

Emigration Act, 1983 provides that no citizen of India shall migrate unless he obtains emigration clearance from Protector of Emigrants. Certain countries (currently 17) have been categorized as Emigration Check Required (ECR) countries. Hence, all persons, having ECR endorsed passports and going to any of the 17 ECR countries for taking up employment require emigration clearance. However, ECR passport holders going to any ECR country for purposes other than employment do not require emigration clearance. No specific mention of ECNR is made on the passports and the ones not endorsed as ECR, automatically belong to ECNR category

The Office of the Protector of Emigrants, New Delhi has issued Emigration Clearance Book (EC Book) to Habsons Travels & Tours to provide and maintain the Emigration Clearance service records.
